The face of Africa has become more synonymous with awful things like massive abuse of power, senseless looting, corruption in high places, war, hunger and deprivation, abduction, political instability, military coups, injustice and crime against humanity by Africans against fellow Africans. Africa’s economy is yet to see the rays of light and direction in the 21st century despite its huge and vast natural resources. It is increasingly becoming impossible for investors to green-light investment in the troubled continent because of these troubling trend. We need not to look further, our problems are caused by the same people that we helped into office on the crest of a wave of electoral malpractices, ill-prepared to serve and work side-by-side with the people. Leaders riding on the backs on Africans rather than be on their side. African solution is not all we need we need the International commuinity to play a major role in the development and stability of Africa-its economy, its people and educating the people about their rigths, their strength and their voice in a sensible and responsible democratic setting.
